The following images showcase a proposed brand and identity design for Melbourne’s Seventh Gallery. At its core, the rebrand analysed the optimal solution for a cohesive identity given the plethora of surfaces needing to be covered; the answer was a custom  variable typeface. The typeface aims to remain neutral, yet capture the personality of the nimble and inclusive gallery reflected in its “by artists, for all artists” mantra.

The resulting typeface is exhibited in the logotype design, upcoming exhibition posters, cohesive website, and wayfinding.
